Sadie (a Springer) started her hunt training young and as a pup some sessions go better than others. Steve is incredibly patient and he is constantly evaluating her and determining the next move that will refine her skills and style.

Though not a dog owner, I often see the truck and dogs at a local coffee shop. The dogs are friendly and happy. The guys sit nearby and look like nice people. The truck with the company name, the whole look is really cool.
Somehow the Dogs of a Feather have this genuine universally friendly presence. Very comforting dogs and people!
Steve is an exceptional trainer, he is gentle but firm in his training techniques! Ryleigh responds so well for him and is responding great to all of her training.
Steve was amazing with my lab Shasta. She hit a rough patch in her training. But, with Steves patience and persistence Shasta is an amazing hunting dog. Thanks a million times for all that you did for her as well as us
Excellent trainer, got my black Shasta trained perfect for the upland bird I hunt, even with a few set backs she had Steve still had the patience an drive to get her to preform flawless for me. Thanks again Steve, definitely bringing another pup to you when the time comes. Maybe sooner then you think
With Steve’s training and patients with my lab Shasta. She has come a long way. We had a few set backs early in her training where she went a little gun shy. But, with Steves constant reassurance to us as with Shasta she is now a 100% a hunting fool. I don’t know if we could have done it with out him. He took his time with her and I don’t think you can find a trainer so devoted to his work. He teachings stick with you and if you need a little more improvement he’s there to help you out. Thank you Steve for all that you have done for us as well as for Shasta.
While I have not used this service for training, I did meet 4 of their dogs coming out of a restaurant one day. The dogs were not leased, in the back of a parked truck. While the dogs were happy to see me and the group I was with (they were some of the happiest dogs I’ve ever seen), they would not leave the back of their truck. It was so nice to come across well behaved dogs off leash.
Steve has been nothing but GOOD to Cooper and I. Cooper is well on his way to being gun broke and a well trained bird dog. Thank you Steve for all you do

Steve is awesome with dogs. He is a dog whisperer! He trained our Aussie Lab mix and us as well. He gave us wonderful advice that we can use for the rest of our dogs lives. Steve did such a amazing job helping train our Lilly. Just after the first session I noticed a huge difference in her barking and leash pulling.
